The Blue Wave

When Deniz and her friends are together, nothing can shake their world. Kaya, her school friend, finds Deniz very nice, but much more exciting is the thought of Férat, one of her teachers, who is much older, but he cannot reciprocate her feelings. Soon the girls have to decide which university they want to study at. While most people want to go to Istanbul, she would much rather go to Ankara. Mainly away from her mother’s household, as she lies with this in a clinch.
The film shows in many different forms the contradictory feeling between the end of youth and the departure into an uncertain future.
