The Surprise

Jacob van Zuylen de With, an eccentric millionaire, firmly believes that he has all the time in life. That is why he decides that he wants to put an end to his life. A secret organization, disguised as a “burial institute”, offers a macabre service: in return for payment, they discreetly end the lives of their “customers”, the cause of death they can choose themselves. As always, Jacob, who is undecided, chooses the “The Surprise” package. The customer receives the guarantee of death in the near future, but does not know how and when he will die. When he is asked to pick out his coffin, Jacob meets the beautiful Anne de König, who has also chosen the package “the Surprise”. The two get closer and Jacob is suddenly unsure: Do I want to die at all?
