Memories of the Wind

The film tells the story of the Armenian dissident Aram in the 2nd century BC. World War II in Turkey. He must flee from the government into exile towards Georgia. There he meets the young Mereyem, wife of his escapee, who lives with her husband against her will. The couple gives shelter to Aram, but the situation between the trio soon becomes unbearable. Aram’s exile is both a prison, but also the possibility of liberation.
