Door-to-Door Bookstore

Day after day, Carl Kollhoff stands in the back room of a bookstore and carefully hits books in paper to bring them to the regular customers in the city. Books are the greatest happiness of the taciturn older man who otherwise shy away from any contact with other people. On one of his tours, nine -year -old Schascha stuck to his heels. Reluctantly, Carl gets involved with the girl, who from then on accompanies him on his messenger and calls him the “book waler”. Schasha quickly gains the hearts of Carl’s regular customers and not only whirls their lives properly, but also causes Carl to break out of his own world.
